A practical workshop which explores listening, moving and performing in the field with UK based field recordist and artist Kate Carr.
During this workshop we will look at protocols for moving, sounding and recording. Explore different sonic layers of infrastructure, sensitive re-broadcasts and bring field recordings to found objects via transducers.
Practical Info:
The workshop will be between 1100 and 1500.
Participants are encouraged to bring a laptop for basic editing of recordings, and any field recording equipment + headphones they have and are comfortable using. Recording with phones is also OK if that is what you have.
