--------------------

KATE CARR

Kate Carr is a composer and sound artist whose work centres on field recording, listening practices, and the politics of sound. Her live foley performances weave together environmental recordings, subtle electronics, and archival material, creating immersive sound worlds that reward close attention. Carr’s work sits at the intersection of sound art, experimental music, and ecological inquiry, and is known for its quiet intensity and emotional depth.

EIVOR SLÅGEDAL

Eivor Slågedal is a multidisciplinary artist whose work centers around found material. In her sound practice, she uses field recordings mixed with improvised compositions to connect the listener to a realm that centers the more-than-human mythical world. Growing up in a folk music environment, she draws inspiration from the wide specter of Nordic folk melodies and tales. Central in her practice is the experimentation with crafting instruments from found objects, often resulting in unexpected meetings between materials and sounds.
