Som en del av Soundscape Røst 2010 - 2020 på Lydgalleriet og The Ocean på Bergen Kunsthall, vil Elin Már Øyen Vister sende en spesialutgave av «Radio Hopes and Dreams» hyper lokalt, streamet online.

«Radio Hopes and Dreams» er en mobil, kunstnerdrevet radiostasjon og laboratorium initiert av Elin Már Øyen Vister og Margrethe Kolstad Brekke i 2014. Radiostasjonen vil kringkaste et 5 dagers omfattende program i det offentlige rom som dreier seg om klimaendringer, økologisk sorg, biologisk mangfold og sosial og miljømessig rettferdighet.

«RHAD» vil bli direktesendt mellom kl. 1400 - 1800 hver dag fra tre forskjellige steder der publikum blir invitert til å bli med for å lytte personlig, eller lytte på nettet.

«Radio Hopes and Dreams» ga Francisco López i oppdrag å kurere et dedikert radioprogram og digitalt samlingsalbum med tittelen «Aural Twilight». López inviterte deretter Barbara Ellison, Elin Már Øyen Vister, Francisco López, Magdaléna Manderlová og Thóranna Björnsdóttir til å bidra med temaene soloppgang og skumring. «Aural Twilight» vil kringkaste to ganger om dagen i løpet av live-programmet, hvor hver dag vil inneholde verk av en enkelt artist, i to blokker med lengre lytting på to timer hver morgen og kveld. Albumet lanseres online lørdag 11. september og kan høres hver dag på «Radio Hopes and Dreams» mellom kl. 0800-1000 og kl. 1800 - 2000.

«Radio Hopes and Dreams» is a mobile, artist-run radio station and laboratory initiated by Elin Már Øyen Vister and Margrethe Kolstad Brekke in 2014. The radio station will broadcast a 5 day extensive programme in public space revolving around climate change, ecological grief, biodiversity, and social and environmental justice. 

«Radio Hopes and Dreams» is paying attention to the rapid changes in the sonic environments and “silencing”of the world, as a result of the alarming loss of global biodiversity caused by climate change, habitat pressure, pollution etc, fuelled and invented by a seemingly never-ending greed of extractive imperialism and neo liberal capitalism.

«RHAD» wishes to exchange, share and broadcast knowledge and actions for a social and environmental just ecological transition. «RHAD» broadcasts interdisciplinary material from a wide range of local and international contributors and guests. Sonic art, literature, poetry, DJ sets and live music, people knowledge, scientific and artistic research, and conversations, as well as dialogues, meetings and debates with the people and beings of Bergen. The sonic material will be suitable for people of all ages and shapes.

«Radio Hopes and Dreams» commissioned Francisco López to curate a dedicated radio show and digital compilation album titled «Aural Twilight».  López invited sound artists Barbara Ellison, Elin Már Øyen Vister, Francisco López, Magdaléna Manderlová, and Thóranna Björnsdóttir to make contributions on the themes of dawn and dusk. «Aural Twilight» will broadcast twice a day during the live program, where each day will feature the work of a single artist, in two extended-listening blocks of two hours each in the morning and the evening. The album will be launched online on Saturday 11th September here and can be heard each day on «Radio Hopes and Dreams» between kl. 0800- 1000 and kl. 1800 - 2000.
