3 voices, 8 speakers, live processing – Tabula Rasa’s vocal explorations meet Juan Sebastián Vassallo’s electronic sound landscapes.
Through the use of a shared graphic score, vocal ensmeble Tabula Rasa move away from traditional notation in favor of a visual language that encourages improvisation and real-time interaction. The audience is invited to experience the human voice as physical material. Through live electronics, the singers’ vocal sounds are stretched, filtered, and transformed in the moment. This creates a dialogue in which technology does not merely accompany the voice, but becomes an integrated part of the musical expression, blurring the boundaries between the organic and the electronic. This co-creative process results in a concert performance with a duration of approximately 40–45 minutes.
