In 2020, Lydgalleriet initiated the writer in residence program, where a writer is invited to engage with the exhibition program at Lydgalleriet. The resultant series of creative texts were written in response to the exhibition program at the gallery, as well as to wider themes within sonic culture.

The writer in residence from 2020-2021 was Samuel Brzeski.
